Community-based Models for Black Mental Health: Black Psychology as a Professional Gateway Project is a year-long project funded by the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. The project was co-created by Adeeba Deterville, MA and Rachel Bryant, MA. It is lead by Adeeba Deterville with Community Outreach Assistance from Lynesha Kately. California Institute of Integral Studies serves as the lead grantee. In partnership with three community-based organization – Bay Area Association of Black Psychologists, Health and Human Resources Education Center, and Rafiki Wellness Coalition.
